Do you want to be a creator and affect the world in a good way? Stop resisting. Start being happy. Spread that virus. Be the hundredth monkey.
I saw a bumper sticker recently. It said: "Wag more - bark less." Dogs know this innately unless they've been trained in fear by humans. Being as dogs don't read, this bumper sticker is for us. It says: find some joy inside yourself, spread it around. Smile at strangers, give someone a genuine compliment, be happy.
Most of us are happy when things are going our way. That's easy - and a good place to begin. But what about when things don't appear to be going the way we want? Can we find "happy" in that?
The essential ingredients are trust and presence. Trust that the Universe knows what it's doing, that there's a bigger picture than we are privy to, and being present. Being in the here and now. Stepping out of past and future. That is meditation. That is the medicine. Did you know meditation is the medicine for unhappiness?
Misery comes from being where-we-are-not. Being in an unreal time dimensions (past/future) - and thinking that things should be different than they are. It's a powerless position.
When we are where-we-are-not we are also being who-we-are-not.
One aspect of who-we-are is joy and happiness. It's our nature. Strip away the conditioning, the programming (which is all mind is) and we are left with joy, happiness and presence.
As we live in joy, happiness and presence, through the law of attraction we attract more of that to ourselves, which expands the amount of joy, happiness and presence in the world.
