If Ocean Waves Could Think Like Humans

If ocean waves could think like humans, would they think themselves separate from all the other waves? Would they think themselves separate from the ocean? 

Would they believe they are going their own way and in control of their lives? Would they try to be the best wave they could be? Or perhaps try to be like the other waves they see?

Would they feel small and humbled at the vastness, power and beauty of the ocean? Would they fear the ocean, or perhaps worship it as a power - or even a god - outside themselves?

Would they never realize it is who they are - until that moment when they merged back into that from which they came?

Could be. I don’t know. What do you think?
